In a little town in Southland, Omaui, the Community is proposing cat ban, for a simple reason that some of the cats are killing native birds. A lady from this little village said that they shouldn't get rid of the animals. Some people even filmed the cats at night to see what they were up to!
My opinion to this article is that they shouldn't get rid of the cats, because that is actually really cruel. Also the government said that once the cats have died they can't get new cats.
